COBRA Break Out near mint/excellent++ (maybe near mint) AA Records AA 003; 1983. The poster sleeve has very few light bends at all. The downgrade in condition is mainly for some discolouration along the horizontal fold line seen in the 4th photo. The vinyl has a few very light marks on the A side; more on the B side but they really are short and very light. Plays fine.

COBRA Strangers excellent++/mint/ Cobra Music Co. 12COBRA 2; 1986. The jacket's made of that thinner, flimsier paper so was more prone to damage. The cover's got a bit of light ringwear and some light bends. The back cover is pretty much the same except with more visible ringwear. The record is in unbelievable shape. Includes a mail-away form for the limited to 500 fan club only "Fast Control" 7" form, which is in very near mint condition.

DEATH SIDE The Will Never Die near mint/very near mint+/mint Devour Records (Devour 2)/Bloodsucker Records (BSR-010); 1994. The jacket is very solid, looks almost new except for some very light ringwear on the cover and a small, circular indentation about 4mm across in the bottom-left quadrant. The platter is in absolutely brilliant shape! Strange for a Death Side record not to have been played to death but I digress. The insert is mint, plain and simple.

For some reason one of the Game Of Death tracks is missing but all in all you still get 40 bonecrunching slices of hardcore so not too much to moan about.

GHOUL Oi! Oi! near mint++/very near mint+/ Noise Room Records NRR-008; 1986. The insert shows super light ring wear signs in the top two quadrants on the reverse side, one of which sort of shows on the cover side. Light enough that I could still give the rating that I did. The flexi is like new.

S.O.B Don't Be Swindle very near mint/near mint++/near mint+ Selfish Records BEL-12020; 1987. Just a tiny bit of corner wear and almost non-existent ringwear to the jacket. The back cover is pretty much the same except with more visible ringwear. Conservative grading on the record, which only has a few marks, which are hairline thin, though longer than the usual ~1cm type. The lyric sheet has maybe one very light bend on the whole of it, apart from a heavier corner bend seen below.

SYSTEMATIC DEATH Final Insider/Lucky Time! excellent++/near mint+/near mint Selfish Records BEL-12019; 1987. Actually very nice, the main reason for the condition downgrade is a sort of wavy bend along the upper-left edge, seen below. The bottom-right corner also shows a bit of damage. The LP is great with only some hairline scratches on both sides. The lyric insert is pretty nice. There is just some light ringwear showing on the black side, some light bottom-right corner damage (same as with the jacket) and a very light bit of damage to the spine, about 8mm long, however it HAS NOT SPLIT and is quite a ways from doing so.

THE GENBAKU ONANIES Nuclear Cowboy near mint/very near mint/very good Alchemy Record ARLP-008; 1985. The jacket is physically in very nice condition with only a very light corner bend and some very light edge wear to the opening side of the back. The cover however has a few spots which are likely a result of either the paper degenerating or humidity & moisture combining to ill effect. The record only has some light marks on the outer ring, before the recorded area. The insert has age spots as described above. There are also some bends. Note that the corner pictures which have the Alchemy Record logo and the all-white from the other side are the SAME corner.

THE LOODS Stop Fuckin' Around! near mint++/excellent/excellent++ R.B.F. Records R.B.F.-301; 1985. The jacket's only problem is some extremely light ringwear. The B side of the record is perfect while the A side has some light~medium-looking marks. Still plays alright. The insert is actually a 12-page booklet filled with pics, info, lyrics. The back cover has some light wear.

THE STALIN Stop Jap excellent+/near mint+/very good+ Climax Records CMC-2505S; 1982. Probably better than Mushi. The jacket is in decent overall shape. Other than the corner damage you see below it's actually pretty nice and crisp with almost no signs of ringwear at all and no seam splits. The platter itself is in very nice shape! The lyric sleeve has seen some better days though with some light bends, signs of ringwear and, quite literally, many light, little spots on the back, the origins of which I can't even guess at. You can also see in one of the photos that it's got a 1 3/8" seam split at the top.

THE WILLARD Run "Cindy" Run excellent/new/ Eastworld Records T98-104; 1986. The jacket's got some light corner wear and a seam split developing on the spine. Vinyl has a couple faint marks but has never been played (according to its former owner, who looks like he was telling the truth).

V/A ADK Omnibus Vol. 2: Neo Punk Disorderly excellent++/excellent+ ADK Records ADK-08E; 1984. Early ADK ripper! The gatefold jacket (blank on the inside) has a just few light bends and some very light corner bends as seen in the last photo. It's not really in that bad of a condition. Both sides of the record have mostly hairline light marks, a few general light marks as well, but it plays perfectly fine I can tell you as I've had good fun with this one.
FEATURES: Gabell, Molugu, Glycerin & Gasatsu (aka Crime Fighter). No idea what the tracks are but there are 14 in total!

V/A Eye Of The Thrash Guerrilla near mint/excellent/excellent++ Selfish Records BEL-12018; 1988. Possibly the greatest ever hardcore comp. out of Japan! The jacket's got very light damage to the two right corners, ringwear is almost non-existent and other than that there is a short bend line in the upper-right area. The A side of the record is fine apart from a mild stain on the label and the odd light scratch. The B side only has a few marks to speak of, but they're notable. One mark runs about the length of the radius although it's not deep and even testing it before writing this description the record DOES NOT pop when it hits this mark. It's got a few other marks which look worse than what they really are (ie. they look a little heavier than the typical scratch but don't cause any faults during playback) and then a few hairline scratches. The lyrics sheet has some light bends up the left side and a few tiny age spots along the bottom-left edge.
FEATURES: Death Side, Tetsu Array, Raise Cain, S.O.B, Nightmare, Crow.

Another brilliant, piledriving 4-way split out of Japan! 15 rippers from noisy hordes to cause your loser neighbours to phone in a noise complaint! There is only partial and very, very light ringwear. Both sides have a couple light bends & marks. There are a couple very light and short bends on the back cover and the right side of the jacket has a few tiny scuffs. The record has a few hairline marks on both sides. The lyric sheet has a very light and partial fold to the bottom-left edge, a couple light bends elsewhere and some very light discolouration along the right side of the reverse (white) side.
FEATURES: Death Side, Gudon, Half Years & Mad Conflux.

Another brilliant, piledriving 4-way split out of Japan! 15 rippers from noisy hordes to cause your loser neighbours to phone in a noise complaint! The bottom- & top-centre both have a little very light ringwear. The bottom-left corner has a very light sort of squashy bend, for lack of a better term. There are a couple very light and short bends on the back cover. The record has no right to look as good as it does! The lyric sheet has no more than a couple super light edge bends.

V/A Sulais Omnibus Vol. 1 ~Nobody's Fault very good+/near mint++/ Sulais Records (no catalogue number); 1989. Worthy of being in anyone's collection just for the Matsuji tracks. The poster sleeve is good for the most part. It's got some light bends, a little bit of ringwear although at the top you can see some fraying/edge wear. Unfortunately part of the dragon (left of cover; upper-right of poster) has faded yellow slightly (for the curious, this was designed by none other than Sugi-chan of, yep, Sic! The record actually has almost nothing wrong with it.
